Newly renovated tram No. 2172

It is a two-axle two-way tram car. This tram was manufactured in 1929. During 45 years of operation, it has not undergone major modifications. This car ended the operation of two-axle trams on May 8, 1974. After the end of the operation of the old trams, the Circle of Friends of Public Transport began to take care of the car. Thanks to that, it has survived to the present day…

After a major overhaul,
it introduces itself after 39 years!

Car No. 2172 is not a museum car.  It will be used for various occasions and booked rides, or on the nostalgic line No. 91.

Thanks for the wonderful opportunity to be there. You will breathe nostalgia, old times, humility, incredibly sophisticated interior and, most importantly, respect, while watching the car operator, with what bravura they manage it, although it is not easy at all, especially physically.

It was an honor… ❤️
